Tomato, Avocado & Hummus Grilled Cheese || Food For Life (or Lunch)

By now you should really know how much I love food. Every week for my job, I get to pick out four meals a week to buy food for and make, and then take some home for Jason and I. It’s completely ideal! We’ve been doing a lot of organic clean eating, and the pounds just keep coming off. Well, here’s a little something I made recently that I just loved, and I thought I would share it!

Hummus, Tomato, and Avocado Grilled Cheese

So, all it is is a little homemade hummus (I make it like this recipe from 100 Days of Real Food, but add it roasted red pepper and basil), topped with smeared avocado, tomato, and course sea salt. Then you just made it like a grilled cheese sandwich. You don’t even really need the cheese, but if you want it, I suggest Boar’s Head 3-Pepper Colby Jack. It’s sooo yum. Oh, and the bread I use is Ezekial bread, Sesame (you can buy it in the freezer section at Publix). It’s very hearty and good for you too! Check it out! Oh, and make this. Now.
